The very concept of \u2018truth\u2019 has been questioned in recent times. Is the notion of \u2018your truth\u2019 valid, or is there such a thing as the<\/em> truth\u2014an ultimate truth that is the same for every person in every place?<\/p>\n

Is it up to individuals to decide what is true for them, or is there a higher authority that defines truth? Are all religious or philosophical insights valid, or is there a final authority in matters of belief?<\/p>\n

These are questions which Martyn Lloyd-Jones addresses under the theme of authority\u2014the authority of Jesus Christ; the authority of the Scriptures; and the authority of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n
