William Morgan, J.P., of Pant, Dowlais, was the son of a Calvinistic Methodist minister, the Rev. David Morgan of Pant.
The co-author with his friend John Morgan Jones of Y Tadau Methodistaidd, published in (John Aaron’s) English translation by the Trust as The Calvinistic Methodist Fathers of Wales (2 volumes), Morgan was mainly concerned with the photographs. He also edited and published a volume on William Williams, Pantycelyn, in 1890.
