All Things For Good?
The Banner of Truth was due to hold a Ministers’ Conference in the UK in March, and another in the USA in May. These had to be cancelled due to the COVID crisis. It was the first time for about 60 years of running conferences that this had happened. Over the last week or so a number of things were taking place for those ministers who had booked in for the cancelled conferences. This culminated last Thursday (25 June, 2020) in an online event entitled ‘All Things for Good?’.
You may be wondering if there was a reason for the question mark in the title. And the answer to that is ‘yes, there was!’ — isn’t it true that all too often we find it easy to say God’s purpose is ‘all things for good’, but, in our sinful minds, we are really putting a subliminal question mark after our statement? The speakers at the online event were addressing this question mark and showing us from Scripture that we should indeed have a confidence in our God, and when he says in his word ‘all things for good’, it comes with no subliminal question mark!
Now that the event is over we are making the individual addresses publicly available so that others can benefit from the ministry.
