What?

BSE is a one-day event for young people aged 15+ who want to find out more about the Christian Faith.
Its aim is to help those who are already Christians to dig a little deeper into the Bible and give those who aren’t yet Christians a chance to find out first-hand what it’s all about.

The day will be a mixture of teaching and a question time, with an opportunity to mix with other young people from different backgrounds.

The cost for the day will be £7.00 , this will include a light lunch. For students and unwaged the cost is £4.00.

After graduating from Cambridge University in 1984 he worked as an airport civil engineer for a consultancy firm in Basingstoke. Following theological study at Westminster Seminary California, David was called in 2001 as pastor of Whitby Evangelical Church, and moved from there to Carey Baptist Church, Reading, in September 2009. David is married to Elinor and they have two daughters.

Stephen Clark practised as a solicitor for some years, and then trained for the ministry on the Evangelical Movement of Wales’ Theological Training Course. He pastored a new church in Llandrindod Wells, Mid Wales, then in his home church at Abersychan, South Wales before becoming pastor of Freeschool Court Evangelical Church, Bridgend in September 1998. Stephen serves as Principal and Lecturer in Systematic Theology at the EMW TTC, and is also a faculty member for Systematic Theology at London Theological Seminary. He is married to Lynne, and they have three grown up children and three grandchildren.
