Westminster Conference 2014
This year’s Westminster Conference, on 2nd and 3rd December in central London is on the theme, ‘Authentic Calvinism?’.
Speakers include Mark Jones (co-author with Joel Beeke of the substantial recent book, A Puritan Theology) on the relationship betwen law and grace in Puritan thinking, and Stephen Clark on the relationship between grace and nature in the 18th-century revival. In John Knox’s 500th anniversary year, Andy Young will be speaking on him and there will be papers on Thomas Charles of Bala (Adrian Brake), Calvinistic Methodism (Andrew Davies) and Richard Baxter (Robert Strivens). It promises to be a stimulating and enjoyable conference.
By the way, we have a new website, www.westminsterconference.co.uk, which contains all the details for this year’s conference.
Robert Strivens is Principal of London Theological Seminary.
