In Learning About the Old Testament Allan Harman explains many different aspects of the Old Testament, particularly the importance of covenant in God’s relations with humanity. In particular, he shows how the Messiah is anticipated.
Brief surveys are also given of what it meant to be a ruler or king in Israel, as well as a prophet and a poet.
