I’m currently using this pocket shorter catechism to catechize my young son and daughter. Its small, slim size makes it perfect for small hands, and it eliminates the intimidation factor of a larger volume. Even the color is friendly, though I’m not sure if that was intended. Sometimes for kiddos, its all about presentation, and here Banner gets it right. Get this for your kids and carve out a little time each week to work through the Shorter Catechism. In a world with a host of bad to worse secular ideologies, the Shorter grounds them in structured biblical truths that provide spiritual order, stability and discipline. Start young!
