Ordering, Shipping, & Returns
- What days do you ship on?
Monday to Friday, with the exception of Public Holidays. We also do not ship Christmas Eve through to (and including) 2nd January.
- For next day shipping, what time do I have to order by?
Depending on order size, we aim to ship orders destined for the UK mainland and received by 2pm on a next-day basis.
- How do I get free shipping?
Add eligible item to your basket totalling over the following amounts, based on your shipping address. Minimum pricing differs due to local shipping options.
UK Mainland: £40 or over
Northern Ireland: £60 or over
Highlands and Islands: £45 or over
Channel Islands: £50 or over
Isle of Man: £60 or over
- What happens if my book arrives damaged?
We take great care to provide high-quality materials. If your book arrives damaged, we will replace it at no cost. Please take photos of the packaging and the damaged book, and contact us as soon as possible. We may submit these photos to the courier if we believe the damage was caused during shipping.
- Customs and Tax for shipments to the UK (including Crown Dependencies)
Taxes and shipping will be calculated and paid during checkout.
- Customs and Tax for shipments to the EU
From the 1st July 2026 until July 2028, parcels arriving in the EU will be subject to a temporary flat-rate customs duty of €3 per distinct item category. You will be charged this fee during checkout.
For orders under €150 (£130)
- The fee is charged on each distinct item. For example,
- 3 books: €3
- 2 books & 1 jumper: €6
- 2 books & 1 jumper & 1 blue leather bookmark & 1 black leather bookmark: €9
- The fee is non-refundable, unless the product is faulty.
- Further duty, VAT and charges may apply on arrival.
For orders over €150
- we will not collect any VAT, duty or charges on your behalf. Any duties and fees will be paid on arrival.
- Customs and Tax for shipments the rest of the world
Shipping charges will be calculated during checkout. You will be responsible for paying any relevant taxes and duties to the courier.
- Shipping to Brazil
In order for parcels to successfully pass customs, please provide us with your personal Tax ID (CPF) or business Tax ID (CNPJ) and a local Brazilian phone number. We must include these details on the parcel for accepted and delivered to you.
